This original painting was a commission but ironically, the final image that was chosen is very similar to MY place in upstate New York. I live on a farm road with a pond and my house is a converted barn, so when I see this I think of home. Mine. But hopefully it's universal enough that people will just feel welcomed whenever they see it.
